Get Paid. Give Back. And Rock the “I Voted” Sticker.

Picture this: it’s Election Day. You’re the person everyone smiles at as they walk in. You hand out ballots, explain the voting machines like a pro, and, for the grand finale, you give people the magical “I Voted” sticker. You’re basically the Tom Petty of elections.

TODAY, we’re teamed up with Power the Polls for Poll Worker Recruitment Day, a nationwide push to sign up the people who make elections actually work.

Here’s the thing: there are no off years for democracy. Even though 2025 isn’t a presidential year, important elections are happening across the country, and local election administrators are already recruiting for the 2026 midterms. Every election needs poll workers to keep polling places open, help neighbors vote, and make sure every ballot counts.

And they especially need tech-savvy folks, bilingual speakers, and in many states, younger workers (you can start as early as 16 or 17).

As a poll worker, you’ll make voting a positive experience for:

  • People who just love voting in person

  • Voters with disabilities

  • Voters who need language assistance

  • Voters without reliable mail service

It’s fun. It’s nonpartisan. You get paid. And you’ll leave knowing you made your community stronger.

So if you’ve been wondering, “What can I actually do to help?”, this is your sign. Sign up, show up, and power the polls. Then, challenge three friends to join you and keep the momentum going.
